Group Projects

It takes many hands to get a complex project completed. Being responsible for your part of the project is just one thing but making sure it integrates with the whole is another another. I learned a lot of skills working with Yvette Helin on the Rugrats. I joined when it was a stage show and then her shop became the provider of the theme park costumes. Beyond foamwork, I learned a ton from the awesome Casper Hargreaves who led us thru the mold making process of the heads and feet, as well as casting carbon fiber with vacuum bags and slush casting urethane shoes. The TMNT costumes were done at Jim Henson Co. and I was in charge of the chest plates and back packs. Always quite a challenge when translating the animated designs into wearable 3D costumes.
